Cva scout?
Re: Cva scout?
Have a CVA Accura muzzleloader which is very similar in design of lockup, firing pin access and stock design. Have had no issues. Very well built. For a few bucks more you might find a Henry SS in 243 or .308 and get the walnut stock. Have one in .44mag and love it. I like open sights for close shots under 60yds, but CVA does not offer, not sure why as the ml's come with nice firesights.

I see the ammo everywhere around home, gun shops, Academy, Walmart.
It's definitely everywhere.

I suspect (IMO) there is a conspiracy to avoid stocking very much in and around this metro area. Eastern Oregon seems to be where most of the variety of less common stuff goes. I said so in another older post that the BiMart gun desk said I should take a trip to LaPine in central Oregon.

Re: Cva scout?
I have a CVA Scout in .444 Marlin.
Haven't had it long enough to get comfortable with it yet, but it is obviously a well built firearm and appears accurate enough for my purposes.
My deer ranges are from 10-165 yards.
I have no worries about the performance at those distances.
