Got my Remington 141 in yesterday, took it apart, cleaned and reassembled. I'm surprised that it's in great condition. I loaded up 30 rounds of ammo to take to the range Sunday to try it out. I'm not great with just iron sights but will have fun with it anyway. 35.2 gr of 2520 with a 200 gr Hornady bullet.

Nice, can't wait to hear how she shoots.
I have a Savage pump in 35, have taken several deer with it.
Congrats. I believe those were made from like '35 to 1950 ish.

Yes, it does. Quite a unusual but nice touch.

Nope, never have. It was one of those put in low GB bid and accidentally win! Pump action reminds me a lot of my 870.

Not particularly but the rifle is 7.3 lbs. The butt plate is even steel.

Congrats on picking up a cool looking rifle. Your post reminded me that my cousin just inherited one from his Dad who passed last year. His is a 32 Rem and has this interesting looking rear sight. Does your 35 Rem have the same sight?
I took a bunch of pictures of it to help him with it’s value.

No, it's just a plain buckhorn with a screw that raises and lowers it rather than the ususal elevated ramp.
