M400 Snakebite vs "SE"

Post by Cleveraction » Tue Jan 25, 2022 8:42 am

Hey all! I have a vortex viper pst gen 2 LPVO that I just couldn't bring myself to return, so I had to buy a rifle. I ordered an M400 Snakebite. I then noticed the "SE" for a couple hundred bucks more. Anyone familiar with these? What do you get for the extra money? Looks like upgraded trigger, diff color stock, coated barrel. I probably should have come here first, but alas, I did not. The non SE version cost around 1k and I am thinking about just selling it as NIB, but would like your opinions (maybe I should even think about a diff brand?) and break even/lose 50 bucks.

First AR gun, I have long been a bolt/lever guy but wanted a semi-auto; have owned a couple sig pistols and fit/finish and reliability have always been exceptional that is why I went this direction.

Both my AR's are Franken guns so I can't help you. Depending on the price difference you might get an aftermarket trigger for $100-150 and they are so nice.
