A great offer
I had an offer last evening from a guy that saw my Remington's on an old picture. He contacted me and made an offer for my Remington 512-X that has some fantastic figured wood on it. The rifle over all is like new condition and he fell in love with it when he saw the picture of it. He made an offer of $900 for it which is crazy money for that model rifle even as nice as this one is. What is even crazier than the offer is I turned it down. I did offer him another one that is just as nice but plain walnut stock. It would be a cheaper way to go but he still made a fantastic offer on it plus he wants my super nice all original 1946 512-P Remington along with it. We have to work out the details but I am probably going to make the deal because he wants them for his young son. I don't shoot them hardly at all since I don't shoot off my porch anymore. Have to get the FFL things sorted out before anything can move ahead.

Sounds good Bandit! I just made a guy's son happy for Christmas also but he will have to wait till Dec. 25 to enjoy it.
