Takeing the Ruger Precision 6.5 creedmoor out for a walk

Post by Brando73 » Sun Oct 03, 2021 12:53 pm

Buddy has set up a nice little range on his property in the woods. He has steel set up at 500 on in with large gongs, silhouette's, small round steel at each berm dropping 100 yds on in to 100. Has where you can set up paper as well if your zeroing at 100 and load development as we both load.
Had no sleep last night but it's a beautiful day in Oklahoma and if I can muster enough energy, I'm going to go shoot at 500 as I've already zeroed the Arken 6-24x50 ffp optic.
Should be a quick trip

Dang, that sounds like a really great setup. I’m sure that rifle in that caliber eats up everything on that range.

We have several people that have precision long guns including the Ruger precision. We've also got some excelent 308's and 30-06's that can put hole in hole inside 300 and pie plates at 1500. I think I have a pictue of mine. Let me see if I can find it and I'll post
