Chiappa LA 322 Carbine

Stopped in a local gun shop today and they had a Chiappa LA322 22LR in their rifle case. Nice looking lever action carbine and the action seemed very smooth. It shouldered very well and seemed to have a good trigger.

I was wondering is anyone has any experience with this rifle or can add some input on it performance and quality.

Thanks,

Paul

What kind of back up on parts and service does that rifle have? I don't think that I would choose it over a made in U.S.A. Henry.

I looked them over when they first hit the LGS. They had some decent wood on them and that is about where it ended. They had very poor fit on the receiver parts and were no where as nice as my Henry Frontier or Marlin 39 A's. I personally would not own one and some Italian built guns have very poor service. Beretta is one of them.
