I agree with your comment that they seem like a kids size gun, I’ve had the same thought. I have a standard carbine and a Sporter model. Out of curiosity from this conversation I measured the LOP on both and was surprised by the results. The standard carbine measured at 13.25 inches which is a pretty standard LOP for adult sized rifles. The Sporter measured at 14 inches and I’m sure that is helped by the rubber pad. Plus the sporter has a straight butt and the carbine is the curved. Shouldering both the sporter absolutely feels better than the carbine. I tried to take pictures to show the difference but I don’t think the pics represent the difference very well.
