decided to call Mag-na-port to make sure of a couple of things ..... when I asked their rep to confirm they do Mag-na-port Henry 45-70 rifles with 22" octagonal barrels, the answer was immediate .... I was told that they most certainly do .... further that they have done several lately .... I asked about disassembly .... they said that they would accept them directly from the owner just as they were shipped from Henry .... in short, no disassembly required .... we may well be near their facility next June .... they said that if I made an appointment we could stop by and they would do it while we wait .... just may take them up on that one

The 45-70 With factory loads ain't bad to shoot
At all.
If you reload and crank them up, that's diff.
The. 450, m. Is a bear to shoot , they don't sell
Reduced loads for that. I can't hold that barrel down. It's short and kinda light. And it jumps
When you send one down range. It makes me
Laugh , trying to hangon and follow tru. The shot.
I had a 416 Rigby in a #1 ,but it was a a much heavyer. rifle. And longer. Barrel.
I got some 405 gr. Bullets. To load up this summer
Think I will test them in the 45-70.
