No, the tag is not still on it. And, I may get to the range this weekend. I hoping to sight-in my scope on the 336W tomorrow. I might get a chance to squeeze in my 1894CS with a few shots. But, I wanted to clean and check it over first (if I can wait).

I am no expert, but I understand it to have Ballard rifling. Yet, I probably will shoot whatever is cheap at Wal-Mart for starters. However, will post a range report of what I use.

I ran a couple of dummy rounds through before I picked it up. All seems to cycle well. I have thought about running a patch through it. But, thought about field stripping first. I remember when I bought my 336W a few years back. It jammed at times (could have been me not cycling with purpose). But after I took the magazine off, I found a hard piece of plastic by the carrier. Since then, it cycles fine. And if I was not trying to finish a school assignment by Sunday night, I would probably clean it tonight. So, I try to squeeze in what I can, when I can. Yes, priorities. Fun is a must. Yet, work comes before play (most times anyway). I just finish part of my honey do list. Now, it is time for school work.

Fit and wood seem fine. There are a some blemishes on the receiver. Over all, I am satisfied with it. Hopefully, these pictures are better.
