Just looked last night at these new rifles by Ruger. I like the idea of 357 bolt gun but at 1K asking price I just would need to take a pause on considering one. Thats a lot for a pistol caliber bolt gun. IMHO

Very true, Al. As I said, these 77/xx guns have always been pricey. Of course, 1K was also the asking price for the new Ruger made Marlin 357 that I saw at our LGS, the one with the 5 pound plus trigger.

Well since some 77/22's have entered this thread I guess I will enter mine. I have one. Not sure how old it is as I don't even remember when I bought it. But it does have some nice figure in the wood. It doesn't get shot very much but it has been a good shooter.
