Re: Bond Arms Levergun
Not my style, looks like one of those terrible black “assault rifles”.

To my eye that thing is unforgivably ugly.

UPDATE from Jan 2023 :
anticipated sale price $1,500 .... quote from link below : "To be clear, this rifle is still in a pre-production prototype phase, but Bond Arms tells us they've been testing and refining it for more than a year already."

Yes, it's not pretty, but it looks very functional and will meet the needs of those where semi-autos are NOT permitted, like the UK. If you read the comments they are very excited. I don't know that I would add it to my collection, I have my Henry's for the lever gun class, and other guns to fill the other needs, but I can certainly see where this would fit the bill for a LOT of folks. I can see them selling as fast as Bond can get them out the door. Especially when they start adding additional calibers to meet customer demands. To be able to have the gun in .223 for plinking or piggies, and step up to a larger caliber for deer, and higher for bigger game by changing uppers and mags... Yup, they will probably sell very well.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can't do anymore with regret, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Re: Bond Arms Levergun
I bought my Ruger American Ranch Bolt action in 556 over other options BECAUSE it would accept the AR mags. It came with a 5 round mag. I had a number of 10, 20, and 30 round mags from my two careers. Nice to go looking for the coyotes with an AR mag in the gun and have PLENTY of ammo in case a need appears. Or to simply walk down to the range to plink with 20 rounds in the gun.

Re: Bond Arms Levergun
My Henry Long Ranger in .223/5.56 with 5 round mag is much nicer looking.
