Project Appleseed preparedness
My little Marlin model 60 is almost Appleseed ready! This Wednesday I'm off so I'll be heading to the range to zero in my iron sights, and zero in my scope as well!

I took my dad and boys to an Appleseed weekend a few years ago, not only did we have a lot of fun, I think that we all learned a some valuable stuff too. Let us know how it goes and maybe post a few pictures too!

. Good luck! Stay dry. One mat on the ground another as cover.

Re: Project Appleseed preparedness
The appleseed was fun, I had a goal of bringing back a patch my first weekend out. However that did not happen, as I re-aggravated my pinched nerve in my neck. I was happy to complete the Appleseed. I did learn a lot, and will have to work through my injury.
Me and my better half are talking about going together in August, this will give me plenty of time to practice the stances in which I was taught over the weekend, as well as using a sling and getting used to it.
The first day was 39 and raining/hailing on and off. Day two was 65 and sunshine. Unfortunately the better day was the day that I got hurt. Thankfully I had my small pack of just in case medications with me, and my physical therapist on speed dial.

Gotta admit, I had no idea what this was. Looked it up. Very cool. Wish there was something like that here.
