Guess I'm in sort of the same boat with big bores these days. I really have no actual need for anything more than a 357 as far as revolver or lever gun cartridges, so I'm still shooting 41, 44, 45 and so on out of habit from the old days, back when I was hunting and doing a little big bore handgun silhouette. Shooting the big stuff in handguns does take regular practice to keep your accuracy edge, so I still try to do some limited big bore shooting. Just too many great memories and years of shooting to let it go, completely. Can't even walk past one of these bad boys in a gun shop or gun show without stopping and letting the memories surface. Guess that's why I still have a couple and always will. Shot my very first deer with one. It was my first deer "rifle".
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
