Hope it's okay to add this quite "friendly" review article about this Winchester, published in American Rifleman?

I for one am not overly knowledgeable about which are "good" rifles, "premium don't-miss-the-chance-to-get-one" rifles, or "not-so-good" rifles. Which kind of rifle is this Winchester?

Only been into Henry rifles for the last six years, which is as long as I've owned any firearms.
Always interesting to bump into new-to-me-firearms on our Forum.

Asking $975 with some trade requests.

They are some fine Rifles,with very slick actions.
I'd like to own one some day.
But for now the little H 001 will have to do.

A friend of mine in Texas bought one yesterday, I have no idea of the condition.
Said he paid $500 OTD.
But that son-of-a-gun, he finds some deals I'm here to tell ya.

Some seem to always be at the right spot at the right time, having the best luck.
Not very often do I get lucky at the same time as having the funds to execute on it. I hate when that happens.
