After all the headaches I had with two Ruger American Predator rim fires I won't be buying a Ruger rifle again. Love the Ruger MK series handguns except the MK IV. I would buy a Henry 45/70 over a Ruger.

The only Ruger rifles I have ever owned, were a pair of ss 10-22's. Which now belong the 2 youngest, the daughter has one the son the other.
Never had an issues with either. Now hand guns, I've had and still have a few.

I have had and currently own several Rugers and have never had a problem with any. Sorry bandit that you had trouble with yours. My wife has a 22lr American and I have had a 22wmr same thing and both are/were dependable and accurate.
