I have a couple Winchester pumps in .22LR and am thinking of getting a Henry pump. Any Henry pump owners here?

I love mine. I wish I could have more range time with it though.

Just remember that the stroke is a lot shorter than on other pumps and it takes a little more effort. If you work it like you mean business, you'll have no trouble. I love mine. Also keep you thumb out of the way when the bolt comes back.

Shall we say it gave a slight "brush up reminder" actually it was when I pushed the action release.

My brother-in-law shot a semi-auto pistol for the first time a couple years ago. He put his finger behind the slide. Not a good idea. It nearly ripped off his finger. Oh, he is a doctor and a very well educated man.

Just proves even a smart Dr can do dumb things like the rest of us.

I've had my round barrel pump for quite a few years now, and I love it. My eyes got to where I couldn't see the open sights, so I installed a Skinner rear aperture sight. An email to Henry explaining what I did and the serial number and they sent me a new proper height front sight, no charge. I can now shoot mini-mags into quarter sized groups at 50 yards.

Sure hope so. The pump looks like it is full of action and would be fun to shoot, too!
