light primer strikes with my H003T

Post by gunman5646 » Fri Sep 28, 2018 9:13 am

In the process of preparing for sihlouette competition, I have experienced some light primer strikes and accompanying misfires. I also noticed that I can feel the recoil in the slide handle when this happens. I thought it might be the ammo brand, bit I have experienced it with several different types. I fully field stripped it and cleaned it thoroughly, but it still happens occasionally. Seems that the position of the pump handle makes a difference. When I push the handle forward and maintain forward pressure it stops. It seems to have some difficulty coming fully to battery. Has anyone else experienced this?

based on the diagnostics you have already completed, I believe I'd collect a few of the misfires, call Henry and send the rifle back to them along with the misfires .... to me this sounds like a mechanical defect
