My new Henry Pump Action 22LR

Post by retAFShooter » Sat Jul 16, 2016 12:49 pm

My son and I had some fun shooting my new Henry Pump Action 22 yesterday. It was the first shooting. It is pretty cool, and very different feel for a Henry. It seemed a little tighter and rougher in the action than their lever action guns. Maybe it will smooth out after some use. Here is a short video:

Nice POIs for both the older and younger shooters. ;)
Great video work, and a very cool pump rifle!

My pump seemed smooth from the start. I have several pump rifles and shotguns. I've always been taught and follow it in practice that you should "rack the action like it owes you money".

I like your results.

Oh great! It is not enough that I now have 3 Henry lever action rifles, now I am looking at a pump action. Yeah, just great! lol
Seriously, great shooting and thanks for the video. Congrats on the Henry pump action.

Did you adjust the sights after you shot it and before your son? If there was a prize for the best range report you would get it just on the videos. I always enjoy watching yours.

Thanks for the compliment Sir Henry. No, I didn't adjust the sights between the two clips. But, I have now installed some TruGlo fiber optic sights but haven't have a chance to go out and test them yet.
