Features and Modifications

Post by mycle1000 » Mon Jan 31, 2022 9:14 pm

Just purchased a survival rifle this weekend. The first thing I did was surfed the web to see what was available for it. Good Lord, you'd think I just bought a Harley-Davidson, for all that is out there!
So, I bought 2 magazines for it from Henry.
That's all, for now.

Just curious, where was yours manufactured? The ones from Rice Lake WI appear to have the upgraded trigger and hammer which reduces trigger pull.

What does the breach end of the barrel look like? Does it have some recesses around the circumference and if you look at the chamber end are there holes where the plastic is visible? Apparently there is a new barrel design out where the breach end is solid metal with no recesses and the plastic is not visible at the chamber.
