1st time out

Post by Ranger2020 » Mon May 16, 2022 4:59 pm

1st time out w/ AR-7 this past Friday. Shot at my squirrel targets @ aprox 30 yards. Every shot was in target, most in bullseye. That was w/4 clips full, 32 rounds. Tried 100 yard range, hit 2 bell ringers out of 16 shots. Shot aprox 100 rounds w/2 missfires. Both were same brand of ammo. Both were reloaded and they fired OK. Overall I believe I got a winner.

Nice! Congrats.
My SIL picked one up recently, not sure if he's made it to the range with his yet.
You said both misfires were the same, so more than one ammo tried?
Sounds like a good day, I've had it happen a number of times with all kinds of firearms.
Even CF's, first time just a click, cock and fire again, BANG!
