Sure would be nice to see a picture of it. How is the overall condition of it? Is the bore still in good condition? If so you have a highly collectable piece there and I am sure it would bring alot of money if sold. Not saying at all thats what you intend on doing but congratulations on receiving it. That would be a very neat inheritance. Welcome to the forum glad you joined us. Im sure others will chime in.

I always fall back on the "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" (ECREE) principle popularized by Carl Sagan when one of these trolls uses second and third hand heresay evidence to make an extraordinary claim. Not buying this Henry made by Uberti nonsense at all.

call Henry and give them whatever info they require .... it may well have been made prior to the founding of today's Henry Repeating Arms in 1996 but I tend to believe they probably have a good knowledge of prior years
