Some Friday evening fun.....
A beautiful early Fall Friday evening and took the Lil'Red Beast out on the blvd. Eight barrels of fun with a 5 speed...Detroit locker rear and sticky tires!
Great medicine for an old guy!
Some new Dodge Challenger with a Bumble Bee just didn't want to play at one light. That little devil on the tach always gets me in trouble!

Really Nice Forty. There was a time when I wanted a hot car. My high school buddies were all into them, but they were out of my reach. By the time I could afford them, physically I couldn't climb in and out of the driver's seat easily, so I became interested in TRUCKS.

Re: Some Friday evening fun.....
I purchased this Corvette about 1990 and had it for almost twenty years. It was a fun ride but
after while it just set in the garage most of the time. Carol suggested if I wasn't going to drive
it, maybe I should sell it.
I put a price on it no one would pay, and of course someone did.
It was fun but once we started traveling with the Motorhome I lost interest. I did put it on a
dolly a couple of times and towed behind our Airstream 345 Motorhome. That got a lot of attention.

My dream car was either an early Vette, Mid to Late 60s, or the early Mustang Muscle Car, the Late 60s Fastback or Mach 1 or Shelby. I would make do with a 68 Camaro or Firebird if they had the proper running gear.
In high school my best friend drove a 68 Formula Firebird he built with a 396 shoehorned in. The 396 was his class project for Auto Mechanics and was FAR from Stock. He got an A+ on the project.

Coop, as nice as your Corvette was that motorhome is incredible. Love the classic look. Just noticed it was a 1985 from your picture title. Very cool.

Re: Some Friday evening fun.....
We bought that Airstream in 1996 and finally sold it in 2012. 16 years of travel with it. It was cool.
At some places so many folks wanted to see inside that we set out a sign that said tours at 7.
We went from Calgary to Texas to Florida to Virginia and back several times with it. The only problem
was it was a bit cramped inside and we wanted more room.
