I will go with Chuck Connors. He also played pro basketball and baseball. Not only was he fast but also very accurate. Course this is all with a rifle. A lever rifle.
Plus one on Chuck Connors being a gifted athlete. I heard he once switched hands shooting his rifle on the set and no one even noticed. He was that good.

In the opening of the Rifleman pilot he actually shot without the set screw and was just as fast. The producers asked if he could hurt himself they said it was possible so they came out with the setscrew.

Back then on the set they used live ammo in a lot of the scenes where possible. Chuck was always shooting the rifle and often amazed everyone with his skills.

He was remarkably accurate from the hip.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Sung by Roy Rogers & The Sons of the Pioneers, and animated by the legendary Ward Kimball at Disney's. Ward did Jiminy Crickett in Pinochio too. There's your trivia for today....

I don't think it was a hollywood star, but I remember years ago, in a fast draw competition that the winner drew and fired in a blur. He was timed in 19/100's of a second. Sounds impossible but I remember the time distinctly.

Probably was Hugh O'Brian who was a fast draw champion. He also played a marshal in a TV series.
