Well I have some brass cleaned and ready to size and load. Have a 10 round loading block ready and the first couple pounds of
powder should be here Monday.
Load data from Alliant for .45-70 is 405 gr. RNFP loaded with 49 gr. of Alliant Black MZ
I will load the cases with powder off the press using a loading block and then back to the press for bullet seating and crimp.
Hopefully I will be able to get out to the range on Tuesday to try them out in my 1885 High Wall rifle with a Range report to follow.
If all goes well .45 Colt will be next!
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
.45-70 with Black MZ powder about to begin...
