New Stainless Lever

Post by Neon Horse » Wed Feb 22, 2017 8:45 pm

I just wanted to stop by and share my new stainless lever. It's a Marlin 336SS in 30-30. Looks great and shoots great.

I plan to add a few things. I also plan to hunt with it!

That's a really nice photo and a beautiful rifle in a great caliber. Thanks for sharing it with us! Good luck with the hunt.

Nice picture enter that in the photo contest never know you might get lucky. Have fun with that pair. Is that a 45 in the Ruger?

That is one of the rifles I looked seriously at before buying my Henry. Nice rifle for sure.

Thanks y'all! The Ruger is a 45ACP revolver. Tons of fun and practically useless :D

I had a nice 336 that was blued, but sold it foolishly. So, I decided to get another. I'm a sucker for stainless, so I decided to do it right this time. Paid a little more, but well worth it.

I looked at a Marlin '94 Cowboy in SS if memory serves. 30-30. In my opinion the Henry all weather Big Boy would have looked better done like your SS Marlin. I guess they'd still have to do something with the wood though.
