My laptop has an emoji button (dual function with F2). A long time ago before the migration, those emojis worked and then one day they didn't. After the migration, they are now working again.
I just noticed my laptop also has a emoji button although it's F1 on mine. It's the same as using the windows key and the period button. I probably use it more for symbols not on the keyboard like ¢ ° ½ ¾. You can also increase the emoji's size by highlighting it and selecting the size pull down on the reply menu. 👍 👍 🙀

Up way too early this morning. It’s currently 38 and very windy and we’ll probably see the temp drop a degree or two before it starts rising. I’ll know the high temp for the day here in 40 minutes when the weather folks show up. But I expect it will be in the 50’s. Yesterday was a cold all day long rainy day. I had the pleasure of being out in it for half of it helping my son pack up and move his travel trailer to a new location. Days like yesterday makes me happy with my decision of a few years ago to quit big game hunting.

This morning we’re making a Costco run and then finalizing the new floor project. Then it’s home for game 2 between Seattle and Toronto on the diamond. Seattle took game one, well done fellas.

Sure would like to build a fire this morning but I’m limited on firewood for this season so I wait until it’s colder. However, I have a great supply for the next two years. Last week I cut the logs I got from a neighbor into rounds. These trees were fairly big in diameter and alive when cut so very wet meaning heavy. I stacked to about 5’ and then quit as I didn’t want to lift the heavy rounds any higher. So I decked the remaining logs and will cut and stack them when this row is split and stacked in the woodshed next spring. I told my wife she could have a fire in August if she wanted.

from looking at the weather radar, the tropical system that has dominated our weather for the last couple of days is moving on and we are happy to see it go .... 59 at 9AM under a high cloud cover .... zero percent of rain for the next few days .... the forecasted high today is 71 with tonight's low being 56 .... biggest thing on today's agenda is Maureen finally starting physical therapy following her recent knee replacement surgery .... it has been delayed by the need to treat a blood clot in her right leg .... we won't know for sure if they will actually start the therapy today for a few more hours
