1960's Buick Rivera.
1960's Buick Rivera.
Since Vaquero post the pic this am in the Morning Coffee and Weather thread thought I would bring it here. Im not thinking many would have recognize that picture as that car. I did because my dad owned a 1964 Rivera. It was a cool car at the time. He had a friend at work though who had one I liked better one of these Wildcats it was in a coral and black color and looked really good.

I love the old Buicks of that era .... my first and only muscle car was a Buick Grand Sport 455 Stage 1

I remember that car well Jim. My Dad bought a couple of Buicks. Rivera was a good car but the Buick Special Deluxe he bought for my Mom was not. It was new in 65. Left us in the middle of an intersection with an engine wire harness on fire. I remember that well and it sure did stink.

This one is vintage but I think it may be a Ford though.

Actually, I think those pedal cars we modeled after a '58 Chevy Bel Aire.

Re: 1960's Buick Rivera.
My parents drove five boys back a forth from Los Angeles to Witcha Falls and back 3 times in a mid sixties Buick Wildcat.
Learned to put in a rebuilt water pump in that car in about 45 minutes total time.
