I recently had a gunsmith install a stainless steel flush barrel filler in the dovetail slot on my H012MAW All Weather .357 BB. He put some nicks in the barrel either when removing the buckhorn sight, or installing the flush filler.
I contacted Jeff Post in Henry's Tech CS about covering up those nicks. For anyone who has a Henry AW, here is his answer for future reference:

Since it is a hard chrome, there is no touch-up or repair available for that finish. Paint would not stick to it well even if a matching color was found. It is abrasion resistant, so If the gunsmith used the appropriate equipment to remove/replace the sight dovetail filler, it should not have left any permanent marks.
It is possible that a light pass with a Scotchbrite pad may take off the abrasion residue, if that is all the marks are. Do not use anything more abrasive, like sandpiper or steel wool.

I think med-fine brass wool would be better.
