Either a 7.5” or a 10”. I think even the ten inch is marginal for a .45/70 unless you handload with a faster powder, but it is way better than the one in the video.Mags wrote:.

Any of the shorty big bore revolvers like the Alaskan can perform significantly better, with good velocity and much less muzzle blast, if you don’t use factory ammo in them.
