January 13th, 1871

Another windy day....40-50mph again. Because of the El-Nino/El Guapo/El-Chapo or whatever it is, we are having a very mild, no snow but gale force windy winter. 45F today and the relentless wind is roaring down the eastern slope of the Rockies.

Took my 1871 Colt Richards SA conversion revolver to the range. No rifle today. Just shot 20 rounds at 25 yds 1 handed shootist style...

...not much to brag about today, there's some way off the mark. But any day shooting my guns is a good day.

I wish I could shoot my 1873 SAA as well. Great shooting, RR. Thanks again for another awesome range report and for the inspiration.

To be fair I don't think I can blame the wind on any. It was blowing pretty straight down range.
Thanks for the kind words.

Marshal I believe you got the bad guy. That is if you got the shot off first....or he flinched.
