Welcome to the forum from the TV Oregon. :!:

Resting my elbows on a picnic table in my back yard I was able to consistently shoot 1" groups at 50 meters with the Golden Bullet cartridges. Golden Bullet groups opened up to 5" at 100 meters. The bullets might be running out of gas at that distance.

I sold the Frontier and just ordered a Golden Boy, because I like the way they look. I'll report back if accuracy is not the same with the Golden Boy.

CCI & S&B SV mostly in handguns, CCI velocitors for hunting in rifles, Lapua in the rifles if I am really chasing the last bit of accuracy. Federal value packs for plinking although I also use it for LA silhouette. Have never actually checked its consistency but have shot AAA grade scores with it and that is about my limit even on a good day.

I just picked up my new Golden Boy about 1-1/2 hours ago. It's cold, but there was zero wind. I fired 112 rounds of bulk pack CCI Blazer 40g RNL in my shooting area behind the house. I had zero malfunctions. Shooting offhand, CCI Blazer will shoot 10 shot 1-1/2" groups at 25 yards. It should group a little better off the bench. I'll report groups fired at longer distances when I have time to drive to the gun club.

You can add CCI Blazer bulk pack to my list of recommended ammunition.

My .22 mag loves the Fiocchi and I use Federal in the Ruger 10-22. https://www.federalpremium.com/products ... mfire/am22

I fired some Winchester M-22 bulk pack .22 LR ammunition through my Golden Boy today. Groups were noticeably larger than groups fired with bulk pack CCI Blazer .22 LR. I had one round of the M-22 that would not fire and I had to index the round where the firing pin would hit a different part of the rim to get it to fire. About 20% of the M-22 rounds had a lower report, which may account for the groups opening way up. Every round of bulk pack CCI Blazer I fired had the same report.

I would not buy Winchester M-22 unless there was nothing else available.

I took the Golden Boy to the gun club and shot groups off the bench at 30 yards. CCI Blazer 40 RNL appeared to be the winner with SK Standard Plus Match ammunition being a close second. Remington Golden Bullet 36g HP came in third.

The sights are a bit blurry these days and I had difficulty consistently indexing the brass bead on the front sight inside the rear buckhorn sight. On a bright sunny day I should be able to do a little better and anyone with a scope will undoubtedly do a lot better.

Each of those targets looks great to me! Thanks for the range report and for sharing your targets with us.

P.S. I love your Will Rogers signature!

All show good shooting. I like the center clustering your HP gave the most.

I went to the range this morning and shot groups at 50 meters with the Golden Boy. Temperature was 20 degrees, so I shot wearing gloves. I used a 6 O'clock hold. It was overcast and I had a lot of difficulty keeping the front sight in focus. Both CCI Blazer and Remington Golden Bullets shot 2" or better at 50 meters, which I think is acceptable for iron sights. With better light I think I can do a little better.

Aguila 40 gr. Copper plated works well in my similar-autos. Just about anything at all in my only Browning BL-22, so far my only .22LR lever gun.
