HRA customer service

Post by Redthies » Wed Nov 07, 2018 9:11 pm

I’ve had a few reasons to contact Henry over the past few months (front sights, etc) and they’ve always been good to deal with, but today I called and asked them if I was able to buy just a rear stock to convert a mares leg into a mini rifle. (I know in the USA there is a law about short barrel rifles, but not in Canada). They said you could buy one, but we’re not sure what to charge for a half set, or you could just give us your address and we will send you one for free tomorrow! This is a seriously awesome company!

X2 to you, Red, and also to JEBar.

Nothin' new here, and always expected from Henry.
Thanks for adding yours to the many kudos and outstanding Henry CS campfire yarns already posted on our Forum.

I just had something similar happen when I emailed about an item. I got a thanks for owning a Henry and replied that I owned quite a few Henrys. Soon I had an email with the part I had enquired about along with some other items. All free of charge including shipping. I cant say enough good about them and when I visit other forums where people are bashing them for one reason or another its hard to not resist putting someone in there place.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Well, this actually all came about as I read about a guy on a local hunting forum, wanting to trade off his brand new mares leg that he shot once. I figured it was due to the usual reason... they’re cool, but not a pistol, and not a carbine, so kinda like a novelty item. I used a similar analogy when talking with Allan at Henry. He laughed hard! Anyway, instead of snapping up his “mistake”, I suggested he contact HRA. He messages back with “what do ya think it’d cost”? So I called and asked and next thing I know they’re sending me a stock. I messaged buddy and said he’d best call me as they were sending me his stock. I just can’t see anyone selling off a Henry.

So I messaged the guy about the stock and he didn’t get back to me so I offered to trade him a 10/22 for the mares leg. I hope he bites...

You won't find anybody here ( I don't think ??! ) who disagrees with that statement, Redthies. ;)

So the guy got in touch, and is taking my advice about keeping the Henry. He’s giving me a box of beer for the stock, and first dibs if he decides to sell it in the end. I kind of wanted to nab it, but it would only end up 4” than my SGC, so I’ll help grow the flock instead;)
