After several months of dealing back and forth over the phone with my friend I finally made the deal I was happy with. Made the trip to Ohio and the guns were just as my friend said they were. We got the FFL transfers done by a guy that treated us very good on the fees. He did all three of mine for the price of one. Never had a dealer do that before. I brought home a CZ 527 FS 22 Hornet, a 541 T-HB and also got my Remington 870 TC Trap shot gun back that I sold my friend several years back and he never fired it. I was glad he had also kept the box to the Remington TC. I scoped the Hornet with a older model Leupold fixed 6x and adjusted the set trigger and the unset was OK as it was. The 541 is maybe the nicest condition one I have ever seen. It has no marks on wood or metal. Has been fired very little and my friend got it from an older guy along with a 541-S that was excellent condition also. He wouldn't leave the 541-S go.

I am not really a 22 Hornet guy but I will try it or maybe make it a K- Hornet later. If I keep the Hornet it will get a recut on the checkering this winter. My winter projects are getting bigger all the time.
