I've never been a collector of any type of firearm that wouldn't put to everyday use .... to me, our CCH 45-70 is about as close as I get to buying a fancy looking firearm .... that said, I sure do enjoy looking at them .... I really respect the concept behind producing this modified Colt and the skill it takes to do it .... thanks for posting the link

Me, too. Beautiful work and I do appreciate it, but that's a lot of money to invest in gun just to look at it. My tastes in 1911s, especially, runs very conservative.
