Where are all the lever guns? 1300 members, 650 something lever guns in 'How Many', some member with multiple lever guns. Seems some of our members are holding out on sharing their Henry

What is known about the extent to which HRA interacts with this forum, do they possibly have an employee here as a "member," does anyone from Henry ever acknowledge its existence, etc.?

I ask because it seems that Anthony Imperato is very savvy about new media, the impact of different affiliations with groups of "influencers" in the firearms world, and I'm also aware of other forums where corporate openly places a member in the ranks to act as the voice of the company.

That can be a no-win for said corporate representative, and I don't know that I'd advocate for it, but the root of the question is to wonder if HRA has or could have a role in encouraging new owners to join here, whether or not HRA actively participates in the proceedings of the forum.

This may all be old ground that's been covered, so forgive me if so, just trying to catch up...

ESquared,

DanAtHenry is the media director for HRA and is a member here. Andy at Skinner Sights is also a member here. Daytime Dave (this forum's owner) is regularly in touch with HRA. Both companies are aware of our membership and the discussions here. In addition, many of our members contact HRA and/or Skinner Sights and reference this forum in their communications.

DanAtHenry has provided prizes for contests that the forum has sponsored in the past and will likely sponsor in the future. :)

That's great to hear and know. Don't know that I've seen a post from DanAtHenry thus far, but that's okay and probably understandable. Need to pick and choose wisely if in his shoes.

Only reason I ask is that when you think about the sheer numbers of rifles Henry makes and sells (over 1MM H001s alone in 20+ years), and the expertise that resides in this forum, combined with the "brand fan" mindset, it makes sense (to me, anyway) that HRA would be well served to actively promote this site's existence and encourage new owners to investigate it.

Membership gains would happen organically, and 1,300 members is great, and further upside to membership could be accommodated by HRA in a true win/win scenario.

But that's just an old corporate Marketing/Corp Comm guy thinking out loud.

esquared and others, I'm curious how you found out about the HRF?

I got here by happenstance. I was google searching for a solution to a problem and HRF came up in google search results. Liked everything else about this place, joined and stuck around.

Me, too. If you look at my profile, I've been a member here since December of 2016, which was not long after a lifelong friend of mine who had just bought a BBS .357 told me how great it was.
I Google searched the brand, somehow stumbled on this sight, joined up and lurked until I recently became a bona-fide owner, at which point I jumped in with both feet.
The only reason I bring all this up is that it's been SO helpful to me as a new owner to have this as a resource and how great it would be to grow membership and share this great group with more folks; and it strikes me as such as win/win that HRA would have a vested interest in becoming more active in helping grow membership here.
There may be a lot that I'm unaware of and there have probably been lots of conversations along these lines in private, so I'm not trying to over-step, just asking...
