Sorting through some old photos and came across these. A couple of pics my wife took in 2012. Late fall shipping day on the a7 Ranch at Bob Creek. Our late mare Magic and me. She was such a good horse. Sorting cattle in the tight alleys she got bumped around and never missed a beat. Some horses will get really stressed in tight quarters with the cattle. But she loved every minute of it. The cowboy sitting next to me is one of the buyers.

There are days when a good wool coat and a pair of angora chaps are worth all the money in the world when out checking cows. This is one of them. Coffee is always good too....
