Range Report2_SGC and Me
Although a little cool outside today (low 50s), I enjoyed some more range time with my new SGC (H001TLP). I'm very glad that the winds we experienced last week have "blown away."
I continue to be impressed with how accurate this shorter-barreled, well-balanced rifle performs. This was my third time out with the carbine, and have now put 250 rounds downrange with it. Today I shot 80 rounds, 40-Armscor 36gr HV-HP, and 40-Remington 36gr BP-HP. 80 rounds with zero FTFs, zero FTEs, and smooth, smooth, smooth chambering! I chose the smallest aperture size I have for the Sknner peep, used the 0.70". Again, the Henry Spee-D-Loader was great and easy to handle.
At both distances I shot off hand. The first three targets are at 25 yards, the solo target at 50 yards. Happy-happy to see improvement from my last range report, especially at the 50-yard mark. No doubt about it -- Henry has made a great carbine.
Have a great weekend, Everyone.

Looking good, you are making it hard to put off getting mine. You are a very good Henry salesman.

I think the SGC is the best .22LR that Henry makes.

Honestly, Seabee, I wouldn't mind working for Anthony Imperato & Henry. I thing he has most everything together, and effectively leads this company primarily to the customers' benefit.RetiredSeabee wrote:Looking good, you are making it hard to put off getting mine. Of course, I see this solely from a customer's viewpoint. What I've experienced, and also read from other Henry owners, it seems to be evident that the Customer Service is the backbone of the Henry RAC, serving its customers with an excellent product. In too many instances, I've experienced where people don't do CS well, for the most part, unless the leadership leads and exemplifies that focus. This Henry owner, by example, goes after that all the time. How many company presidents directly respond to their customers' emails, and do other "hands-on" CS? I'd guess not the majority.
So 'tis easy to "sell Henry." Plus I like my SGC very much!
