62 this morning with hazy skies. We’ve been very fortunate this summer with very little wildfire smoke.
It's been smoke free here so far but it's very dry and we still have a couple of months of fire season left. Had a few hazy days last week.

61 with a beautiful red sunrise. Spent a bit of time on the patio with a cup of coffee in hand watching the sun come up. Hot today in the mid 90’s and then the upper 90’s Monday and Tuesday. After three consecutive days out in the heat I’m thinking I stay close to the A/C for a couple of days. Golfing today but it’s a course about 35 miles north of my place and then up into the mountains where it will be cooler. Plus we’re riding in carts today (we bought discount tickers at the Golf Show last February). Normally we walk but riding in a cart will be nice in today’s temps.

Had a great time yesterday at the charity Sporting Clays shoot. The course is different every year and I felt it was much more difficult this year. At least I’m using that for an excuse for my poor shooting. This was the 12th year of this event and I have been to 11. (Poor vacation planning on my part caused me to miss the one year).

Cooler today, might be a good day to head out to the hills and hike and maybe have a picnic. Everyone have a great day.

Hmmm... either 62 or 67 this morning. Hazy with mixed clouds here and there. Maybe 96 later.

while the temp this morning has been a bit lower than in recent days, the humidity has been more than adequate to make up for it .... its 83 at 3PM with a RealFeel of 95 .... forecasted high is 86 with it to drop back to 68 overnight .... no rain .... our son and his family are on their way back from the Pigeon Forge .... they had a really good time and his Jeep truck is said to be running strong ....

We're up early. Carol has a annual check up at the Mayo Clinic this morning.
She processed the wild grapes last evening and ended up with about two gallons
