In yesterday's mail I got my latest Buck fixed-blade. It's not quite a skeletonized model, which I like...but close.
Reading on the Buck site, this was one of the company's "Legacy" knives produced in 2014, and is called "Thorn." I have some more research to do as I want to learn about the different compositions of this knife, mainly the handle make up. It is designed for use as an EDC, and the sheath is made out of very nice quality black leather.
This solid Buck blade fits quite well in my hand, and I really like the looks of it.

Have a great day.

That's a nice knife. I like the sheath for it.

Real nice looking knife, and a great partner with the derringer.

RSb, I also "don't need a new knife," but building this small knife collection is much fun!
Ah, "shame." Just thought I'd mention that either as a "bad or good influence," Dave is the fellow that got me interested in knives (I'm glad he did that!). He built the knife forums, started some chats, I like what I saw/read, and started researching knives on my own. Mainly I searched to learn more about the older knives I already have. Then I found knife "internet shops," and the rest is history..... which you've read about in my posts.
And hoping for my next Buck as a December gift from my daughter!
