Wow, what a couple of “interesting” looking aircraft. Hadn’t heard about the b-21 prior so thanks for the article.

The really interesting things about the B-21 are inside the skin. Very little public info about that, but several other articles on the site over the past few years will give you some hints of it's capabilities if you care to research it. For example, a crew is optional. :twisted:

That might be more right than we suspect. ;) The B-21 concept originated not long after the B-2 was put into service, and USAF began planning for it in 2011. It just had to wait for the necessary technology to become available. Since the design and engineering people are done with the B-21, they're already working on the next X-planes.
