He says they're Klipsch. He said he paid around $6500 per speaker.

I looked on Amazon and they're about $6000 for a pair.

I agree. I was just trying to rationalize buying a nice set of speakers.markiver54 wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 2:18 pmIt all comes down to priorities and where we place them.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 2:00 pmIt’s not just the rich and famous. I’m all setup to listen to Brewer games. I received an FM specific antenna today and hooked it up. Check that signal strength meter!
It has an adjustable gain and I set it specific for each frequency.
The overall height is one third the average frequency wavelength.
My new to me rebuilt Marantz 2230.
For voice I turn the bass down and loudness up with low volume. Bob Uecker comes in crystal clear.

That's awesome Gene. Congrats on the new setup! I'm guessing Tims hill helps with your reception.

It helps with FM but not AM. TV doesn’t come in very good with an indoor antenna. I ordered an indoor/outdoor TV antenna but it won’t be here for a week. What I really need is an outdoor one and up 50 feet. TV is straight line but FM will bend with the earth plus it will bounce off the atmosphere. At least that is what I’m learning. I’m reading forums and watching utube videos. I figure I have till fall to figure out how to get the Packers on the TV.markiver54 wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 7:56 pmThat's awesome Gene. Hope you get the 50' mast. Never know; might also be beneficial if SHF!Sir Henry wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 8:27 pmIt helps with FM but not AM. TV doesn’t come in very good with an indoor antenna. The 50’ mast isn’t high on my list. Getting a garage built is top of the list.
