Dang! I didn't think of that. I am retired so guess that I should contact my accountant to see if I have to increase my estimated tax this quarter.

Since no one asked what the prize(s) was for the contest, I will leave it to Hack to let everyone know what he gets. I don't think he will need to claim it on his 1040 either.

Don't forget the shipping expenses! It can't be cheap to have the prize delivered by the forum's prize patrol. The security alone must cost a small fortune. I just hope my neighbors don't think that I won the Publisher's Clearinghouse multi-million dollar prize and start coming over to borrow a cup of cash.
