Browning Buck Mark plus UDX
I have been looking at the Browning pistols for a while. Wanted to get something different than the two Rugers we have now. Nothing wrong with the Rugers and they are great shooters. Today I called a shop I deal with and he had just two in stock. I got two guns ready to take along to maybe trade one of the two off. When I got there I was surprised to see one was the slab side stainless model with the black laminated grips and the hi-vis sight. They said this one is the top of line model. I didn't care for the one that was matte blued with the round bull barrel that had some rub marks on the bluing that looked easy to get marked up. He looked my two guns over and said he had never seen a 512 Remington that nice in all original condition that was made in 1946. He said that rifle would go on the store rack for $450. I told him I wouldn't be mad if he didn't take it. Then he looked at my Remington 870 from 1955 and I could tell he wanted that one because 870's have been hot sellers here lately. So we agreed on a fair price and I made the trade. I done OK on the deal getting a $125 more for it than I had in it. So now I have a Buck Mark ULTRAGRIP DX PRO TARGET Stainless slab side with Tru/Glo/Marbles sights and 5 1/2" barrel. Going to shoot this one for a while with open sights. Maybe a Red Dot later.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Love to hear how it shoots. The Browning is one of the few 22 autos I've never shot.

Nice. Seems most of the people here have Ruger's. I still have a Browning Challenger II that I got back in the 70's, hasn't been shot that much so it's still in very good condition.

Nice pistol Dave 77. I have one and a couple other Buckmarks that I like a lot. They remind me of the Colt Woodsman that I have a love for.

Ive shot some Buckmarks and owned a couple of them. They shot very well as good as the Rugers.

Here is some pictures of Bandits new Browning. Looks like a nice pistol. I always liked the slab side Browning the UDX model. At one time I was looking for one but they were hard to come by.

Nice looking pistol especially the grip, like the finger grooves. Is that grip tacky?

The grips are black laminated wood with stippling and the Browning trade mark on them. They feel really nice and I like the feel of wood on my handguns.
