I would just like to say

Post by brm4450 » Fri May 22, 2020 8:40 am

My wife and I will go to the National Cemetery this weekend and visit the graves of my mom and dad, her mom and dad, uncles, brother in law and cousins. We would just like to say to all the women and men who are giving or have given service to America: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Right Al, most people have no idea what a lot of our Holidays are about any more.
They just see it as a day off.
Thank God for our Service Men and Women, past and Present.

On Memorial Day and Veteran's Day I always call my good friend Sam. He deserves that. Actually, we talk often, but, I don't forget those days.

I must admit for decades I thought it was to remember anyone that had died and didn’t realize it originated to honor military deaths.

Does anyone realize that Arlington National Cemetery is on the grounds that was once the home of Robert E. Lee?
