Forum handles?
Ok, I'd like to know, if I may, where these forum handles come from. Mine is pretty obvious; well, how ' bout it? This is just for fun now. And thanks. Like I said, just for fun.

Re: Forum handles?
well since you asked so nice ...and I like to type about myself
I was in a gaming clan that played Day of Defeat... they said my game tag wasn't family friendly...what is wrong with Dixon with the last name of Cider
so I changed my first name to Justen they said ...NO
then one of the members said Roland The Headless ya know like the Warren Zevon song ...since I used the Thompson gun it fit
so from then on my online persona was Roland The Headless. although now I seem to shoot lever guns more than anything else it should be

Re: Forum handles?
Ranch roping is the working cowboy's form of roping and handling cattle. Not like rodeo, more finesse involved and everything done at a slower pace so not to stress cattle. Stressed cows get sick. If you rope them properly out in the pasture, you can get them treated for pinkeye, footrot, etc quietly and with no fuss. No running or tearing around. Most of the time.

Broken ol Marine...
I was on another forum, years ago... and recovering from yet another surgery. Another vet on the forum said I should change my name to .... BOM. I checked with the owner, and he could make it happen... So I did... My signature line said something like... "The fisherman formerly known as..."
I have now had twenty nine surgeries...
... Broken... But not dead.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I was dubbed "E-Squared" by a couple of college classmates within seconds of meeting them nearly 45 years ago. Initials are "EE", so made me feel kind of dumb for not thinking of it myself!
Anyway, it's stuck.
