Re: Guess what I just ordered...
Had a long chat with my dealer today, he says to hang on, his gun shipments are ready to move, freight arranged, etc. The US gov't changed agencies who issue the export licensing last year, and they have swamped with orders. His license will be issued very soon, it's cleared all the hurdles. Once that happens, his shipments from Cimarron, Colt, Taylors, etc hit the road to Alberta. My rifle is in the shipments. So I will wait a while longer and with luck be shooting this rifle sometime soon. Birthday in June, maybe then?

Re: Guess what I just ordered...
He is very frustrated, he has lots of dough tied up in shipments he said. He's a good guy, I have not paid him a nickel yet and likely others haven't either. I offered a down payment last year, and he said let's just get it ordered. Same when I bought my Henry and revolver, he just ordered it and I paid when it arrived. So I don't really want to stiff the guy and buy somewhere else. Not his fault and he came through twice before with no issues.
