( Update) My turn to experience the Henry CS.

Post by Vaquero » Tue Feb 18, 2020 11:07 am

Yep, got an issue with the Big Boy.
Seems the end of the mag tube has split right where the inner tube locks.
Just got off the phone and a shipping label has been sent.
Guess I will get an experience with their CS.
So no 44 fun for a bit.
So off to town in a bit.

Oooh! Not good Randy. Hardly a quick handyman fix. You know they will fix it. The waiting is the hardest part.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Wow! Could that be due to recoil? How many rounds have you shot?

Henry must have modified the mount on newer rifles. My two have the heavier mount bracket with lock notch at the end of the mag tube.
Maybe they could modify yours for the new part and that would be a solid fix?

It is good that a company will stand behind its product until it stands no longer, or the product is not abused.

well understood, been there - done that .... ours (shown below) split after literally firing 10's of thousands of rounds .... they repaired it and so far, after firing thousands of more rounds, so good ....

Just checked the tracking #, and it says they should have it by the end of the day tomorrow.
