Quick trip to the barn after werk

Post by Vaquero » Fri Feb 14, 2020 7:02 pm

Made it home in time to try out some more 45's.
5 shot groups, at 50yds.
Played with the Rossi and the Pugnose's in between.

EDIT:(in a previous pic I wrote the wrong load on the target, but with the sharp eyes of members/friends here I am correcting that) 11.4 of 2400 and the Pugnose 357. I do apologize .

RR would have been proud, doing the one knee I was ringing that 10" at roughly 70yds.

That 9.5 Unique seems to keep all of them in a nice cluster. Now the Pugs...was that 9.4 of 2400 in the 357 mag case?

Sorry forty, 11.4, but I didn't take as much time with them like I did with the 45's.
That North wind was starting to get to me. ;)

Randy, I'm with forty here. "9.4gr Unique/180gr .357 Pugnose" Is that right?

There ya go. Figured it to be a typo or some thing. We know the load. Sure do like that 9.5gr Unique in the .45 Colt. Impressive!

GD ...sure am happy I don't re-load. I applaud those who do, but as much as I shoot, I can't be bothered. Keep on keeping on with your reloading science. More power to all of you who do.

Mark I find it both fun and rewarding, something to do on those cold/rainy days.
Just keep good notes, and don't have brain farts when writing on your targets.
I won't be forgetting that one for a while.

Thanks forty and Tom for CALLING me out. ;)

Naw, no call out and certainly no apology needed. Ah, we ALL do it! Part of the program.
