Winchester 9422M

Post by Ernie » Sat Jan 11, 2020 1:58 pm

Stopped at the LGS yesterday after work and spotted a 9422M that appeared to be new. It was is perfect condition, no scratches or dings but was manufactured in the 90s and was a trade in, it does not appear to have been shot. I got my finger prints on it but put it back in the rack. This morning after thinking about it all night I went back and it was still there so I traded a rifle I would never use and brought it home. Very nice 22 magnum, good smooth action and it feels good when I pull it up to my shoulder. It will be shot now I can guarantee it. :D

Nice find. I have a 9422M and a 9410. Both are great shooters. Let us know how it does on the range.

There's always a few on gunbroker and other similar sites. Prices range from $500 or so up to around $1500 depending on age, model and condition. Fancy figured furniture increases asking price/value by about $150. I've seen my 1973 model (no checkering) up around $900-$1200.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
