Welcome from California.
I'm jelouse, 6.5 Creedmoore is a pretty definitive cartridge.
If you don't mind, what lead you to a Henry Long Ranger for that particular cartridge?

Re: Checking in from Arizona
Welcome to the HRF! Spot-on choices, 1911LVR, with your first Henry being a Long Ranger in 6.5 Creedmoor caliber. Hornady engineers did a super job creating the current version of a caliber that has a lot of history behind it. My SIL uses it to shoot long-distance competition and says it's the best he's ever used.
Here is a short historical article on your ammo choice, in case you missed it in the "Shooting Illustrated" publication: https://www.shootingillustrated.com/art ... o-popular/
Looking forward to any Range Reports you might have for us. Enjoy!
